Treat Yo’Self Whilst Helping Charities

We all feel the need to treat ourselves but sometimes as we keep making purchases and indulging our desires we can feel guilty and even silly, we think about how much we already own and how the world which is full of so many issues that could have benefited from the money we spent on buying another pair of shoes, a new designer lip-gloss or the latest video game etc.

So here is a list of great purchases that also help the world, giving some or all of  the profits to good causes, leaving you to treat yourself guilt free.

MAC –  Viva Glam – Mac Aids Fund

Every cent of the selling price of VIVA GLAM is donated to the M·A·C AIDS Fund.

The collection has 5 non endorsed lipsticks but is often endorsed by celebrities such as Ariana Grande and Lady GaGa who have added their own shades.

Nasty Woman Tee – Planned Parenthood

Join celebrities such as Katy Perry in the fight against Donald Trump and in the supporting of Planned Parenthood by purchasing your very own Nasty Woman Tee.The phrase coined ironically by Donald trump himself when criticising his then presidential rival Hilary Clinton.  Now it doesn’t matter if you don’t support Clinton herself as this phrase has become a embodiment of women’s empowerment and a term of endearment.  Because if being strong, debating, being ruthless in a public platform like any man means your a’ nasty woman ‘then I think we can consider that an aim.

50% of the proceeds go to Planned Parenthood so click HERE to purchase and find out more.

RED is quite a high profile charity organisation that runs across loads of different businesses. Brands include –

Apple – Gadget accessories and Ipods themselves

Alessi – Contemporary kitchen wear

Bedhead – Sleepwear

My favourite product is this gorgeous bracelet by ‘Alex & Ani’ made with Swarovski Crystals and retailing at just over £30.

The product can actually be used on the hair and body to leave both feeling silky and clean. .

Did you know that for many children in Japan, life has not yet returned to normal after the 2011 tsunami and nuclear disaster? 10p from every bar of Fun (and 17.5p from Rainbow Fun) you buy will go into a FunD to help children’s projects in the affected areas.

Hope you like my choices, there are so many ways to help charities around the world and hopefully more shops will take a page of out these brands books and create their own donating system.

Let me know what you think , if you have any of these purchases or have any other suggestions.

Thanks. All Love
